| BIOGRAPHY
Briah Anson, M.A. in Counseling, is a Certified Advanced Rolfer and Certified Rolf Movement Practitioner with over thirty years of experience. Briah developed her practice as a Rolfer in Kansas City where she co-founded Heartland Personal Growth Center and then later founded Heartland Rolfing Associates.
She is the author and publisher of two books: “Animal Healing: The Power of Rolfing® Structural Integration (2011), Mill City Press and “Rolfing®: Stories of Personal Empowerment” (1991, 1992), Heartland Personal Growth Press. She co-published the same book with North Atlantic Books in 1998. She also has produced and directed the video entitled “Growing Right With Rolfing®” (1996), a documentary featuring work with children under the age of four and interviews with their parents.
In 1998 she moved her practice to the Twin Cities in Minnesota, where she enjoys a busy private practice, Rolfing and Healing Arts Associates in St. Paul.
Briah completed her training and certification in 2001 as a Practitioner of Frequencies of Brilliance with Christine Day. To date, she has received twelve levels of the Frequencies of Brilliance training
Briah has pioneered the application of Rolfing work with animals, and to further educate the public, she has appeared on various local and national TV and radio programs.
One of her key strengths is her breadth of experience with complimentary care modalities. As a great educator and listener, Briah helps clients by gently guiding them through the Rolfing process, allowing each individual’s own process to lead the way.
Briah completed her training and certification in 2001 as a Practitioner of Frequencies of Brilliance with Christine Day. To date, she has received all levels of the Frequencies.

1999-2001: Co-founder: Rolfing & Structural Integration Associates, St. Paul, MN. Certified Advanced Rolfer and Certified Rolf Movement Practitioner specializing in the soft tissue system of physical restructuring and movement education developed by Ida P. Rolf, PhD. She also incorporates craniosacral therapy, visceral manipulation, mechanical link techniques and energy work (on and off the body energy healing).
1997-1998: Co-founder: Heartland Rolfing Associates, Kansas City, MO. Certified Advanced Rolfer and Rolfing Movement Integration Practitioner.
1979-1997: Co-founder: Heartland Personal Growth Center, Kansas City, MO. Certified Advanced Rolfer. In addition to being a Rolfer full-time, she facilitated therapy groups and co-led weekend retreats.
